 | Hey guys, I want to buy a Paul Simon solo DVD and was wondering what the best one out there was?
Is there any that have interviews or any more personal stuff on than just the concert like Art Garfunkel´s Across America does ? |

 | As DVD with more information and interviews is only the DVD classic albums Paul Simon - Graceland available, see amazon.com
I think the best one with more personal stuff is the VHS Paul Simon - Born At The Right Time. |

 | I agree Ans, Born At The Right Time is a great video. I only wish it was also available on DVD. Some of my tapes I´ve had a loooooong time and tapes don´t last well in my experience.
But yep I´ll back Ans up on that one.
As for the Paris Concert for YTO...I was just watching it again tonight and it is really good...
Although I couldn´t help but laugh sometimes when Paul seemed to loose it in the music....lol
You see this is what happens when you have an artist who plays a guitar and needs something to do with his hands when he doesn´t have his guitar...lol!

 | I think personally I more like the African Concert DVD (at the moment?)
None of Paul Simon´s concert DVD´s include any extra stuff, but the African Concert has such wonderfull short movie clips between the songs. This video is made very well IMO. |

 | Well, to tkae his last official DVD, I really like the Live at the Tower DVD. Actually, I don´t think this is the best DVD for Artie because sit has no background information and only 10 songs. But the songs he plays are....................MAGICAL!!!! |

Have it as digital video and I´m not sure if the quality of the DVD will be much better. |

 | @Ans: are you sure ?
I checked a lot of homepages where you can get this dvd, and on all sites it says: region code 1
Oh forget it, I´ll buy it anyway :o)
(I have a region-1 player as well but that one is not connected to the surround sound system) |

 | if you know anyone going to the states you can pick up the DVD Tower easily. It works fine on european DVD players. And Bodo the quality is great, like being at the concert itself. Paul even chats to the audience! argueing about his birthday. Theres also a great duet of himself and Richard Tee singing Ace In The Hole |
