 | I always thought that Paul played in the following movies:
One Trick Pony,The Rutles and Annie Hall.
However, on http://www.aveleyman.com/ActorsS/P00015975.HTML it says that Paul also played in Die Hard With a Vengeance,Nine Months and One From the Heart.
Is this true? Under his name they put the birthdate of Paul Simon the Senator, is it then he who played in these other movies??

yaaaaaaaaaas, I´ve seen those to, I ahev also seen most of those films :-) Paul Simon is a very common name combination. The Paul Simon in Die Hard is about 6ft, over weight and pplaying a cop, if that is my memorie serves me right. Most deffinately wasn´t our Paul Simon.
He wasn´t in Nine Months, but can´t say about One From The Heart. It´s probably the guy from Dies Hard...lol
Edie was in Born On The $th Of July though. Taped it, not watched it yet though.

| I am sure I saw a movie clip once where Paul was one of two security guards stationed either side of a doorway, and he seemed to be trying to not be recognised as THE Paul Simon, with his security guards´ cap pulled down over his face. He was only on screen for a second. I thought it was in "The Thomas Crown Affair" but have scoured the DVD recently, and cannot see him. Yes, in the credits, Paul Simon appears as a Thomas Crown employee, but all I can find is a picture hanging on one of the set walls which may be a drawing of Paul and Art! Can anyone help? Any ideas where I might have seen this "security guard" scene? |
