 | I totally agree about that long thread, so I´ve copied a question I asked in there. Here it is:~

Here´s a thought, and it may get the guys back here to. A question of faith!
Now we know Paul believes in god, we know his background is Judaism..but! Who and what does he believe in?
The reasone I ask is this. When ever Paul greets an audiance, and says good by. When he says thank you, he uses the buddhist gestrure of palms together and a small bow.
I know this is a buddhist gesture because I was looking at Buddhism a few years back and is something that is involved in my own spiritual path.
I do feel Buddhism is something that can be brought into my own faith easly because it is following the wisdom of a man. And he said some extremely wise stuff.
And out of interest...I´m Pagan :-D
So it´s just a thought...I think Paul is a very Spiritual man, and I wouldn´t be suprised to find that Buddhism plays some part in his life.

The Goddess....lol
Only kidding :-D

 | Hi Micky!
I absolutely agree with you:Paul is
a very Spiritual man.It´s interest-
ingto follow his personal spiritual
developing through his songs and
his manifestations.The two palms
together gesture is an mystical,in-
ter religious sign.As in the Chris-
tianity,in the Hinduism and in many
many kind of relegion, even in the
ancient Egypt ages.This two palms
mean that Paul got the level. He has
not just knew them yet, even he li-
ves according to God´s words. He knows that he´s just a drop from
the sea,as we humans all.

 | Hi Micky, llike you I´ve often wondered about Paul´s religious beliefs. He maintains he is not religious, but he certainly seems to have a lot of time and understanding for the nicer side of christianity. not just in the music - gospel but in the message. as you´ve mentioned he embraces aspects of buddism and even mentions the koran. the one religion he doesn´t touch upon in the spiritual sense is Judaism. I wonder why? maybe he´s too close to it? |

 | I always thought Silent Eyes was about the Jewish people driven from their land, as "Jerusalem weeps alone" and that´s why "we´ll all be called ... to stand before the eyes of God and speak what was done"; or was he referring to the Crucifixion of Christ? |

 | Yes Rickjel, Silent Eyes is about the jewish people as is The Teacher on YTO.
