Sorry Bodo...naming names just isn´t nice. Let everyone judge for themselves. Bill´s OK ...most of the time.

You need a news reader (theres one with Outlook Express ). Once you have downloaded newsgroups you can subscribe to which ever group you want. OR if you go to Lasers in the Jungle there ids a direct link from that site. When asked if you want to subscribe say yes. The alternative way is to go through google groups but there is a long delay between posting and your post appearing on the forum. There is also google beta groups which is supposed to be faster.

Sorry Julie - but really MOSt of the new people don´t think so (that Bill is ok), and leave the group after a short conversation with him - so it´s fair to warn people. (stay there, and don´t start discussions with him :-) )

He is like the doorkeeper of this group, and if one person only attacks new readers they get the feeling the whole group is acting like this person. Anyway, he is posting under another name so I didn´t really name him ;-)

It´s fair to warn people to lurk a while to get the flavour of the group but not to mention individuals...let people make their own mind up.

Why Julie? I think people will come back if more Paul Simon related things will happen...

The group has been getting quieter and quieter over the last 12 months....even the recent s/g concerts brought only a slight increase in the number of posts.
