 | What do you all think about the reasons why the new DVD has been postponed?
Normal? |

 | Maybe the material Art filmed in Rome needs to be censored by Paul ;-) |

 | LOL
I guess we will never see what Art filmed (and why?) Or do you think this will be a special bonus film on the DVD?.
Maybe for Artie this was his most historical day in life - playing in front of 600.000 people... :-)
What I find really strange is that there are no interviews now, no comments or anything. Art was always so proud about the CP 81 concert and playing in front of 250.000 people... years later he said how great this was. And now they played in front of 600.000, and there´s no comment. |

 | Art´s fans will tell you he has already played in front of more than 1 million people so, maybe he is not so impressed anymore by 600 000 fans ;-)
And about what he could have flmed in Rome : maybe Paul who is apparently vegetarian doesn´t want to show himself eating some Caviar as he did ;-) |

 | I´m a bit confused by what the Art fans claim, to be honest. I mean, I´ve searched all over the internet to find these "over 1 million people" concerts he supposedly did, and funny enough, there´s no mention of it. I mean, if Art has played for audiences so huge, it would be an easy fact to find on the internet, wouldn´t it? Either they are mistaken, or every music website to be found on google is somehow overlooking these gigantic audiences that have flocked to see Art´s concerts. Hmmm . . . ;) |

 | " ...In June (1990), at the request of the U.S. State Department, Art performed before 1.4 million people (!!!) at an outdoor rally to support and promote democracy in Sofia, Bulgaria. That´s almost 3 times the estimated crowd at the Simon & Garfunkel Central Park concert in 1981 ..." (source is the AG website) |

 | Tell me more about this concert.
Was it really a concert of Art Garfunkel - or was it a event where people in Bulgaria (especially in 1990) have been longin for democracy and Art Garfunkel appeared there?
That would really make a difference IMO if the people come to the event to fight for their freedom and democracy, of if they come to see Art Garfunkel singin... |
