Is somebody of you folks currently raising the price for the S&G Old Friends in Munich-CD on E-Bay[.de]?

Maybe only one of us should ...

Good thinking ! But I am not bidding.
I am wondering about the quality...it is audience I guess ?

Any chance that you will post this show anywhere for download, once you have it ?

I´m not going to do this. It´s up 30,49 now, still 3 hours to go ...

Anybody won the lottery?

Hey Hanjo, nice to see you in here :-)
Remember, we emailed recently ;-)
I already expected something like a proce explosion but have a look at other items: tour programmes for 50 EUR (they were 25 at the concerts!!) and posters are also very expensive. Then someone sold the Munich setlist... *sigh*

I understand that. (I wouldn´t act the same way, but I truly understand)

But please, tell us about the quality. I was at that show, and would really like to have a goodsounding bootleg of that show.

Who now?

I wrote I was NOT going to do this. It´s up to 40 now, and pretty sure more bids´ll come. Far above my limit. I will try and make contact with buyer and seller though.

I just wanted you to tell us how the quality is. I just want to know if there is a good sounding bootleg of this show out there.

If it is a soundboard recording, I am very interested. I know you won´t share it, but I will have a look on other sources or maybe even ebay again.

But I guess you didn´t buy it anyway.... It was almost at 60 euros at the end :o(

Well, misunderstandings there ...

If I had bought it, I certainly would have shared it. In former postings I just stated that I´m out of the bidding, NOT out of the sharing (had there been anything to share). I´ll still try to track the bootleg down somewhere, knowing that it exists, and I WILL let you know.

According to the seller, the quality is all right, a bit too much bass though.

hmmm....shall I speculate on Kuno´s continuos misunderstanding of other people´s posts? Nah...that would be a low blow!
;-)

Sorry hanjo, I completely misunderstood you..
I guess I should have replied on your posting in the german forum...didn´t notice that you were writing there as well.

Let´s hope we get this bootleg from somewhere.

Well, it´s available on http://bt.easytree.org/ right now! Just sign-up and get the needed software (you will need a bit torrent client and a shn to Wav converter). Do a search for Simon and Garfunkel and you will soon be on you way. There are not many seeders right now, so it will be a little slow (I´m dowloading right now and it´s never over 20 kb/s), but with patience you will have it down in a day or so...
Good luck!

p.s. I really don´t know why I´m downloading this. It´s the same songs as the soundboard recording from Atlanta but this on is a medium audience recording, so why bother, really?

Cheers, mate.

Why bother? Well, as I´ve been to MUC, I´d like to have the MUC-Recording, just not to dilute my memories by other stuff. Call it strange, if you want ;-)

I understand completely. I guess that´s kind of the reason I´m gonna take this one too. I wasn´t at the Munich show but in Copenhagen 5 days before. That show probably won´t show up anywhere so Munich is gonna have to be close enough.

I already have 4 shows from this tour so I was just wondering why I actually feel that I HAVE TO get this one too ;)
