Mick joined the band first during the recording sessions for ´So beautiful or so what´. Paul might have been on the search for a piano player and got introduced to Mick by Philip Glass, for whom Mick played since a long time.

Pauls statement about Mr. Rossi in a recent interview was, that this might probably the best piano player in his band since many years. (remember Richard Tee, who played with Paul the last time at about 20 years ago)
