Airto Moreira

Percussion

Airto Moreira was born in 1941 in Brazil. He became a musician at the age of thirteen in a dance band called Jazz Estrela. He has worked with artists such as James Taylor, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, and Paul Simon just to name a few. He served as percussionist on Simon & Garfunkel´s Summer Evening Tour.
