When the record was finished, preparations and rehearsals started for the upcoming World Tour. The Paul Simon ´Born at the Right Time´ accredits Armand with a fourteen months World Tour. His charismatic stage presence and ´Killer bass-playing´ (as quoted by the Japan Times) earned him overwhelming response from crowds and critics alike. In 1993 Armand was asked to come to Washington D.C. to play with Paul Simon at the Inauguration festivities for Bill Clinton and Al Gore Armand’s instantly recognizable sounds have been recorded on Paul Simon’s ´Rhythm of the Saints´ and ´Central Park Show´ albums, Simon & Garfunkel, Peter Gabriel, Vanessa Williams, Michael Stipe (of REM), Carole King, Paul Carrack, Maxi Priest, Stanley Clarke, The Brecker Brothers, Alannah Myles, Herbie Hancock, Manu Dibango and Lady Smith Black Mambazo.
